Dental health

Dental offices shouldn’t turn people away who have tooth infections and don’t have dental insurance or an immediate means to pay for this help as it can become a serious life threatening condition if not taken care of. This type of dental care should be considered an emergency action. Hospitals can’t turn away patents for lack of insurance or funds, why should emergency dental needs be any different. Also you cant just go to the the emergency room if you have a tooth infection cause they don’t know how to treat that kind of care even though it’s life threatening I have heard of people dying from tooth infecting because they did not have the money for the dentist office to treat them and just think this is crazy cause this shouldn’t be an issue !

I agree, and I would add, dental insurance shouldn’t even exist, along with eye insurance. Both are scams more than most realize and really don’t help to offset the costs of remaining healthy.

Serious dental issues can cause serious overall health issues, which in turn winds up being paid for by health insurance. Dental, Vision and Health insurance should all be included in the average American’s health care plan be it HMO, PPO or otherwise and not be separate insurances, two of which hardly cover anything.
