Americans should have access to a credible and trustworthy system to whistleblow on local politicians, especially around the illegal use of and corrupt practices with tax payer funds. The systems need overhauled from top to bottom and having local information crowd sources can more quickly identify the corrupt practices and players more efficiently. This should include things like having fair contract awards processes in building, fair processes for choosing vendors for government contracts, and the ability to report unfair practices, corruption and fraud.
Generally, the same corrupt practices that are plaguing the federal government are happening locally.
