The constituent vote act bill would be a technology-based voting system for voters in each district to vote on bills/legislation. This voting system would be an App and Website system and would require each constituent to register on the system to vote for their district and must be a registered voter in that district.
The bill would have to be setup as voting for one bill/legislation at a time, so congress would only be able to introduce one bill/legislation at a time. This would help with keeping wasteful spend and pork belly spending out of bills/legislation. This would also help if bill/legislation are too vague to understand and would require a better interpretation of the bill/legislation.
This bill would let constituents of that district to vote on that bill/legislation. Each bill/legislation must require a minimum of 10 days to be voted on. If constituents don’t vote on, they miss out on voting on that bill. This would get more people involved with what’s going on in our government.
Once a vote is cast your representative will have to vote on that bill/legislation from the vote cast by the constituents of that district cast whether they approve or deny the bill/legislation the most votes wins on that piece of bill/legislation… This would also help keep the public in control and informed about bill/legislation being passed.
This Act should also apply to Local, County and State levels of government. This will keep all elected officials on the issues for the district they represent.
You could also have a chat based area for that district to discuss the bill/legislation if changes are needed and questions that are asked about that bill/legislation.
