If you think about Edward Snowden’s revelations for even 30 seconds, you realize we are all under constant surveillance by our government, when in a democracy where transparency is key, it should be the other way around.
Your whole life on video live online is probably too much and problematic because a global audience can see everything (including foreign actors etc), but a rotating staff member randomly selected from your constituents perhaps, or a group of citizens in your congressional district that can tap your phone, read your emails, etc. Perhaps it has to be veterans.
The principle here is transparency of public servant actions to their constituents.
Politicians shouldn’t be able to hide things from the people they represent.
