Cap the price of rent! Rent prices are astronomically high and people are struggling to eat and have a place to rent at the same time and I know apartment complexes/private land lords are raising prices when no updates, fixes or overall improvements are being made which is price gouging and is severely affecting Americans.

I live in an apartment built in the late 70s and every year they go up around $45. In the 80s they would go up maybe $10. Also there are so many fees now days to get into an apartment and requirement to have rental insurance. I had rental insurance to cover both them and me and because people weren’t keeping their rental insurance. They made it to where it was a mandatory fee by them that only covered them which was $5 higher than what I was paying to cover them and me . I am a senior citizen and struggle and it needs to be regulated
