Think about this world today, even in our school systems alone. All of the hate, fighting, crime, bullying, etc. The gospel has completely been taken out of schools in America. Some even want to take God out of the pledge of Allegiance and currency, but this country was built on Christian foundations. Today, many Christian students are being challenged with their faith both in and out of school. Teachers/Subs are not allowed to speak about religion or even wear a T-Shirt about anything spiritual. Children are learning about “the big bang,” “evolution from apes,” etc. instead of hearing both sides and allowing them to decide for themselves. I know that everyone has different beliefs and practice different religions, but to keep it one sided in school and keep religion completely shut out is absolutely wrong. What about learning how America’s first religion practiced here was Christianity? The pilgrims came to America to practice their faith in God freely. We have freedom of religion in this country. We’ve been taught that all our lives and it’s written in the Bill of Rights. So why are Christians getting in trouble and told to be quiet for speaking out their faith to others? We all have the freedom to practice our religion publicly or privately and the right to pray.
Whether you believe in Christ Jesus or not, think about our freedom of religion. That’s what I’m fighting for.

Religion does not belong in school. America is a melting pot of all kinds of people, and i do not see how schools would be able to equally allow all religons to take place during the school day. Not only that, but children shouldnt have to be forced, persuaded, guilt tripped, etc on which religion they should follow. It is their decision. But that is exactly what would happen if religion was brought into schools. If you want religion, to be in your childs school, send them to a religious school, not public. Otherwise, leave it at home. School is a place for children to learn the fundamentals for entering society and the work force. Not for your beliefs. Also, Christianity was not the first religion in America.
