Banking fees

Banks charge fees for atm, not using account etc. it’s all electronic and there should be no fees. Fleecing of America. A person should not be charged because they didn’t withdraw money or deposited money. There should be no minimum balance. You shouldn’t be charged a fee for using an atm machine that is not your bank. There is no labor involved so it doesn’t cost the bank any money. We use the brick and mortar banks the leadt but the fees have increased tremendously since we have gone electronic

Here in North Carolina if you use your ATM debit card, you get charged an extra fee for services/restaurants. I use massage therapy for pain management and when it’s $105 if you pay cash, but $115 if you use your card and you live on a fixed income, that’s a lot of money.

I’m all for using cash, but I don’t always have access to it because I don’t bank in the state. My credit union isn’t here. And even though I have an affiliating credit union here, it’s 30 minutes from my home and using their ATM I get charged as well. These fees have got to stop. $3.50 because I’m withdrawing money from an ATM that is affiliated with my credit union, so I can avoid an up charge because I used my ATM card is getting ridiculous! And it shouldn’t fall on the grocery stores to hand out their cash just because you don’t wanna go to an ATM. The banks are making a fortune and screwing the rest of us!
