Our democracy was built on the principle of one person, one vote. Yet, today, the voices of everyday Americans are being drowned out by a tidal wave of money and influence from lobbyists and Super PACs. No more lobbyists

That’s it. Lobbying and PACs and Superpacs should not be allowed. There should not be money changing hands in order to make a law or get someone elected. If an idea is good enough, people will get behind it. If a candidate is good enough, people will support them.

Explanation & Justification

I think the intent of these two proposals are the same. Proposal #1 has more detail and probably would suffice as the parent proposal, even though proposal #2 has more votes at the time of this merge proposal.

Agree. Plus, no politician should gain wealth from lobbyists and superpacs.
