Anti-Trust legislation against the 4 owners of all Seeds for produce & amending the 1980 Patent Laws that created it

4 Companies own the majority of the world’s seeds due to 1980 patent laws that do not allow farmers to harvest previous seed’s for future use. The four monopolies are BASF, Bayer/Monsanto, ChemChina, and Corteva Agriscience.

The United States government should amend the patent laws and go after anti-trust for these companies. Allowing a foreign owned company to corner an entire market of the US seed industry is also problematic. These companies all have numerous cases against them in terms of unscrupulous business practices and have also ushered in the disproportionate growth of lab altered products because of their monopolies. The US has a vested interest in diversifying agriculture and its in the best interest for health and safety of the industry for the United States People.

Please vote yes to prioritize the administrations focus on breaking the monopoly of companies keeping prices high and controlling development that’s moved towards unhealthier products for the American People. As well no foreign company should be allowed to own infrastructure dependent products for the United States and food is one of those.
