The media should not be allowed to blatantly lie to their viewers about a political candidate. There needs to be more care taken into spreading claims about political candidates. Media outlets should provide full context information and claims via video, audio, verified literature, etc. from a political candidate without creating a fabricated narrative to lie about what the candidate actually said. News networks should not be permitted to make assumptions or speak on behalf of political candidates to push a specific or biased narrative. News media outlets should be held liable for election fraud, election interference, and defamation when false or harmful information is spread about a political candidate.
