We did a “pathway to citizenship” many years ago. The result was a surge of 10 times as many illegals. If we do another “pathway to citizenship” it will happen again. Only this time instead of 10 million freeloaders we will get 100 million freeloaders. If we do not deport illegals, the US will no longer be a country in 10 years. Instead we will be Haiti on steroids.

The people that came to the United States came with one goal take advantage of the system. Mexican president is saying now that these people should remain in the United States because it will be great for the economy. Why would Mexico care about the Economy of the United States? Unless they have something to gain and the other question is why is it that they didn’t make a better effort of keeping them in Mexico themselves? Also, if they were seeking asylum they should always seek it in the next country close to them. All I know is they were promised money and helathcare and a better life. They know we can offer this but what about the people trying to come into the United States Legaly? If they get sent back they can be pulled off like leeches or the United States can add some salt and they will go on their own. I feel sorry for the children both lost in the immigration and those with their parents it’s not their fault.

Mass deportation is wildly popular among the vast majority of Americans though. Nearly all other countries on Earth do not allow people born in their country to be citizens. If you have a child in Denmark for instance, and your child will be American. Only Danish citizens can have Danish children. This is exactly the way it should be, and most humans on this planet want it that way.

I would considerate it based on certain factors:
- absolutely no criminal record
- have worked since coming here for a LEGAL company
- have pd taxes since working

Absolutely not! California was sacrificed to this insanity already!
All those waiting in the LEGAL system should be given green cards before any decisions on what to do about the illegals is made.
Deport all the illegals then adjust the immigration laws if necessary, NEVER rewards those who violated the law!
