Adoption and Foster Care

Put forth more funds and education regarding adoption and the foster care system. Making adoption an alternative to abortion by having a system setup to help children succeed in foster care and after adoption. More education and advertisement of these topics can help curb abortion and setup better routes for the youth involved in these programs so they don’t just end up in prison once they “age out” and they can be protected from predators within the current systems

I heard that for every baby available for adoption, there are seven families hoping to adopt. If more expectant mothers were aware that choosing adoption was a viable and supported option instead of abortion, it could help meet the high demand from families eager to adopt. To make this choice easier, could there be a system where the adoptive families cover the medical expenses, such as prenatal care, doctor’s appointments, and other health-related costs? This way, the pregnant mother wouldn’t have to face any financial stress during her pregnancy.

Exactly. Make some incentive to pay health costs and adjustment fee so to help the mother and father but also to not incentivize women to get pregnant just for a check

Babies put up for adoption through domestic infant adoption are adopted 100 percent of the time. Abortion and foster care have nothing to do with each other. Foster care is for children who have been removed from their parents due to something that needs to be fixed in the home. The goal of foster care is to reunite the children with their parents. As for adoption, there are millions of people on the waiting list to adopt the infants being put up for adoption by their mothers. We need to abolish abortion and educate pregnant women on adoption.

Adoption should also be free. Currently you have to pay around $10,000 just to adopt a kid . If you are taking on the responsibility to raise, pay for, and meet all needs for them, why should you have to spend all that money just to give them a better life?

One thing over looked is when to let the child know they are adopted and making a choice to find the real parents as its very important they know, and to pray because many do not now their backgrounds or destiny God has for them, Many want to adopt but do not have room . How will one go about that? remember its for the kids . They are our future.

Actually, that system is already in place. If those pregnancy related expenses aren’t already covered by something like Medicaid, then the adoptive parents pay for them.
It really is just a matter of educating people that adoption is a great option when faced with an unexpected pregnancy. There are so many wonderful families out there who would love to adopt a baby but may never even get the chance to. There are very, very few situations where abortion should even be considered.

Pregnant women deserve the option to affordable access to maternal care, regardless if she wants to choose adoption.
