This would codify the Nuremburg Code into U.S. Constitutional law. Essentially, I am hoping for a total and complete ban on any medical mandates like the ones we saw during the COVID panic of 2020 and 2021.
There is no true one size fits all medical solution. Just because one method works for one person does not guarantee it will work for anyone else, and the forced participation in any medical treatment or experiment is a total contradiction of human rights.
The mask, vaccine, and lockdown mandates we saw in 2020 and 2021 did far more harm than good and did nothing to stop COVID’s spread. Meanwhile, anyone who pointed this out or refused to go along with the panic and participate in them was ostracized, belittled; and in some cases, legally persecuted.
These mandates were totally contradictory to America’s founding principles, and I hope a future administration takes steps to guarantee the protection of people’s medical and personal rights. It should be ensured that this medical tyranny does not happen again.
Completely agree. No one should be coerced under duress to take a medical procedure. Much less one that is only available under emergency use.
I spent three years applying for my wife’s immigration visa and it was REFUSED because she did not have the covid jab. My family is still stranded abroad.
As of Oct 2024, is it STILL the official policy of the CDC to require all green card applicants to have the covid injections, even though the emergency status was dropped more than a year ago, and the injections are not required for short term visas making the requirement completely arbitrary, and a violation of basic human rights.
Totally agree. There is no such thing as public health, only personal health. If i have a cold, you cannot take medicine to make it go away. Expecting me to take a vaccine to protect someone else is too far. If the vaccine keeps you safe, don’t worry about me. I have a God given right to choose what is right for me. Not the government. Ever!
Yes! I also think we need to look at changing the power the SOS and other entities have in states! I NEVER want to see that kind of control and power used again!
No one but your personal healthcare provider should be giving you unsolicited medical advice. Therefore, no managers can pull you aside and inform you that you should get a vaccination or any other treatment for that matter. It is not their place, nor is it Human Resources who was to blame for all the covid-19 reporting that workers had to do during the pandemic. There should also be a penalty for any employer who requires their employees to take surveys concerning their health or symptoms. No check-ins or modules to “educate” workers on an outbreak of a virus. Again not their place. A lot of the reaction to covid in society was fueled by the media and all the fear of dying was fueled by people saying youll die if you dont get vaccinated. It must stop. The abuse of arbitrary authority must end. People cannot assume power across the board over everyone’s health choices.
