911 call takers be considered first reapinders

Please consider making all 911 call takers across the country first responders. In some states they have made it such in others like Arizona it is not, we are lumped in as secretarial and yet we hear things before police and paramedics get on scene. Much of the time the trauma of what we hear is set aside because we have to answer the next call and push it down. Mental health takes a toll and yes for some it’s not the job but someone has to do it and those who choose to do the job would just like the true recognition of being classified as a first responder with the same mental health help and counseling among other things like police and fire departments.
