If young criminals are not responsible for their criminal behavior because “it occurs because of the environment in which they are raised” and if it is also true that, “Precept is instruction written in the sand. The tide flows over it, and the record is gone. Example is graven on the rock, and the lesson is not soon lost”. —William Ellery Channing, then why is not the quickest solution to incarcerate the adult criminals in a community and protect the youth from their instruction? When I say “quickest” I do not mean the best solution. The best solution would be to add to incarceration, the reduction in fatherlessness by no longer paying the non-productive to reproduce.

These criminals should be the ones that are on the streets with mandatory community service for at least a year. Our states might be cleaner
