Our children are gaining nothing from this platform, but diversity, hate, mental health issues and negative influences. This platform should only be allowed to be used by adults over the age of 18.

This is a slipper slope when putting age restrictions on things. This goes back to parents need to be responsible for their children, not the government.
One could look at more verification of age and ratings of age on content like they do for movies. But even this will have kids find a way around it.
