I would like to see Senior citizens be eligible for a program for basic food groups similar to wic since most don’t qualify for very much EBT. $28 month in EBT is not much and they are typically undernourished due to low income.

For those who would eventually want to move away from the government ran social program of social security, this would be one program, locally ran, we could all get behind to help start replacing the income, that we all know will eventually run out, for senior citizens. We will need other great ideas as well to fully benefit seniors.

I worked in retail and waited on elderly people who would come in to buy dog food and yes it was for both the customer and there pet
