I would like to see Welfare treated as Unemployment in cases with no disability. Drug tests, proof of seeking employment etc

The welfare program in and of itself needs reformation. There needs to be verification of who’s in the household, the validity of claimed expenses, the validity of work search efforts, drug testing, and specific timeframes of benefits with maximum benefit limitations per person/person year. Welfare should be to help people get back on their feet, not a replacement for work.
