The current government will not vote in favor of term limits, salary changes, PTO changes and more. I believe since they are OUR civil servants the ballot at each election cycle should have what ever proposed career change the senators, representatives and governors puts forth and let the people decide.
They want a raise? Put it on the ballot and We The People will decide if they should be given one.
Term limits? Put it on the ballot and We The People will decide.
Age limits? Put it on the ballot and We The People will decide.
Trading in Stocks? Put it on the ballot and We The People will decide.
They want to end filibusters? Put it on the ballot and We The People will decide.
They want to enlarge government? Put it on the ballot and We The People will decide.
They want to break California in to 2 states? Put it on the ballot and We The People will decide
There should be a policy section in the ballot where we get to vote on if our government is truly fighting for us or just filling their pockets. For too long greed and corruption has filled those chambers. It is time for We The People to stand up and say enough is enough.
As I said before, these politicians are our civil servants. It is time for them to go back to serving us.
