Votes counted by the end of Election Day

All election ballots must be counted by the end of Election Day. No ballots shall be counted after Election Day. No exceptions.

This is a great idea and states that can’t get it counted by the end of Election Day should lose federal funding or be fined per day.

Most of them would take the fines or lack of funding in order to persuade an election. I’d just say all ballot must be counted that day, 0 exceptions. They can hire more poll workers if need be. Nearly every other state can do it.

Early voting and mail in is popular and can stay, but we should start earlier and back time it so those votes are counted and validated by the day before Election Day.

We want disputes and litigation put to bed early and not drag results on for weeks.
