1 month of benefits for 1 month for active duty
2:1 month for all National Guard and Reserve time. To include IRR time
Benefits would be applied in addition to current benefits
Benefit will be a tax free monthly payment equal to the average pay that a servicemember earned. This includes all special duty, combat, hazard pay, etc. This amount will be adjusted to match the current military pay rates.
This benefit will also be protected from spouses and/or child support.
This would also boost enlistment. Creating an opportunity for stricter requirements and more capable applicants.
Veterans would be walking stimulus checks for any community they enter. As they should be.
