Initiative to help Veterans to start a new micro farm in their communities. The current programs only cater to existing farmers who have been working for at least 5 years and have more than 5 acres of land. I would propose that micro farms of 5 acres or less would fill a niche unexplored and give the Veterans the opportunity to serve as they have done before.
