Total surveillance on people in the government

Transparency is key to true liberty. The American people deserve to know everything about what people in government are doing or plan on doing. We have recently discovered in the last 15 years that certain agencies in government and even private institutions have been surveilling the American people without their knowledge and without their consent which is a massive violation of our fourth amendment rights. They surveil and they permanently record us with a Google type search engine to look up any information and any device of any American citizen and use it for nefarious purposes. They did this to then President-elect Trump in 2016 with many people in the Obama administration, including Joe Biden, searching for dirt on anybody connected to President Trump and even President Trump himself. These abilities to disgustingly violate our right to privacy should not only be forbidden by anybody in the government or any institution contracted by the government, but should be rightfully given to the American people. The people should have total access to any and all tools the government has to spy on us to “spy” on the government. When you work for the government, you actually become an indentured servant of the people and as masters of our servants, we have the right to know what they are doing and saying at any given moment. Basically, turn the tables on the government when it comes to violations of privacy. THEY WORK FOR US! When you work for the people, it should be an actual sacrifice to better the nation, not a get rich quick scheme or to cosplay as God becoming all-seeing. When they are out of government, they become private citizens once again and their privacy is again protected.

I believe alot of this came about after 9/11 & the patriot act. Maybe if we get rid of it & secret courts things can normalize. Remember what Ben Franklin said about giving up a little liberty for safety & deserving neither?
