Local farmers work with the school system to provide schools with fresh fruit and vegetables to be used in everyday school food, Children get to take agricultural classes starting in elementary all the way to high schools to learn the process of farming and agriculture, help local farmers stay in service, best of both worlds they help teach the kids to farm, learn the importance of healthy eating and providing their classmates with fresh healthy food, and farmers stay in service and lose risk of losing farms and product.
