I would love to see an open debate branch called ‘The People’s House of Commons’ branch of government where average US citizens can volunteer and voice their opinions, beliefs, suggestions, and quick presentations to the US government to influence change. It can be the communication-link between beurocrats and elected officials and the common average people. I feel average people voices, as chaotic and perhaps as cognitively low-functioning it may seem, should be included in our branch of government as a form of communication direclty to the US government so we can skip the mainstream media and voice our narratives directly. I’d love to see average citisens discuss, debate, and even rage-talk council and committee members with a back and fourth verbal quarrel of heated debates and ‘gotcha’ moments. It would make politics more exciting, make average people publicly involved, and overall an outlet of heated communication which can deconstruct false narratives and propagandas. Much like the Canadian and British parliament’s House of Commons, it requires voluntary speakers with great points going back and fourth debating, discussing, and voicing opinions at each other for an whole one or two hours. There can be a judge who maintains order but overall we want the excitement of members of each side dynamically and booing and cheering their feelings over topics. The president should add this as an unofficial branch of government and allow the people to voice their topics and narratives to their own government despite how silly, ideotic, or insane the topics are or become.
The result of sessions can perhaps result in greater public participation in politics, an outlet for frustrations, and an overall influence by the intelligent, average, and low-functiong members of the citizen-public to the United States political system and have their voices heard directly and accurately.
