Continuing the discussion from Local food processing act:
In no way am I in favor of busting teachers unions in fact I’m largely in favor of removing government oversight of the department of education because it’s more appropriate name under government overreach would be the “department of indoctrination”. instead I would interpret the teachers union as a trade, take the right to certify a person to educate away from private institutions, and give it to the union of teachers instead. And task them with teaching the next generation of teachers as well. I think curriculum for most kids should look something like basic: reading/wrighting, math, objective history, critical thought, and the scientific process to be the subjects taught year 1-6 in order not in tandem, after that point every student should be afforded and encyclopedia set and therforth be tasked with researching, learning, and applying to the world, concepts and curiosity’s they find themselves drawn to on a monthly basis from within the encyclopedia or without but they must have a project of the applied learning to be graded each month by said teachers who would be there to guide to the best of their ability
