I think we need to seriously begin talking about what the future of the economy, labor, and society will look like once the automation of jobs hits critical levels. Might not be in the next ten or even twenty years but I think we have seen technology advance enough in the last 30 years that the idea of a future where over 50% of the workforce is non-human labor is almost certainly a reality we are moving toward- and I believe we should begin to figure out what the plan is for that reality before it arrives on our doorstep.
