Tariffs Build Infrastructure

We need to use the money brought in from tariffs to be directly used for infrastructure and business grants. This needs to be completely public record so we can see where all the money goes.

I like the idea of tariffs for public infrastructure. (This would reduce what we pay in taxes for infrastructure.) Why add for “business grants” too? That’s a whole other issue.

We need to rebuild or overhaul all of the factories so that we can make our own supplies at a price point people can afford. It will take decades to do without help. America needs to be less dependent on other countries quickly.

Yes Kevin this is huge! My take is to look at basic distribution ops first to see what can be existing investments first that we already rely on in the US, ex: (office operations. Paper goods! Office ops are very expensive. Trees, cotton, plastics. Stop sending our lumber overseas? Grow more cotton than soy? We don’t need recycling (SENT TO CHINA AND BACK) , if less plastic for coating is used; and our oil n gas in US is more like mud -diesel; we have that, (no rebuilds on refinery needed) so varnish n paint? OK make a choice of paper goods to 3. Good, better, best, quality. OFFICE MACHINES choice of 3 manufacturers; PAPER choice of 3 size & quality, MACHINERY (Optional imports), DISTRIBUTION ground, air, heavy. INVESTMENT IN: “National Paper Co.” (Huge returns) “IBM, Xerox , Brother, Epson” (best ROI in US) . Back to Basics / NEXT STEP : Buildings, Power, Water systems, PROVIDED within DISTRICTS. (according to products) Apparel, Leather, Organics, / My talking points are based on PROBLEM SOLVING and COMMUNITY NEEDS and GEO RESOURCES. I know that sounds simplistic; but to keep costs down at a time of basically “start up” , with INCOME FROM INVESTMENT (“tariffs, Co’s Grants, & employee Stake holdings & OTHER Co. Investments”) it CAN SPEED UP THE REBUILDING OF Our Factory Infrastructure and PRODUCTION FOR SAFETY IN QUALITY GOODS. In other words, Start at the Start. WHAT DO US CITIZENS NEED AND WHAT CAN WE DO WITHOUT? (my 2 sense) Let’s keep this conversation going; it’s not only About the developers; but the People who Run it…

I will also add that, bringing our manufactured goods back to STANDARDIZATION is a way to simplify tracking of Payables and Receivables. Especially in government contracts, simple metal materials (screws and other fasteners, door locks, ect) Car parts, aluminum, stainless, Copper for Plumbing ( Health wise in mind is important). I don’t think that people realize How much it costs to send RECYCLED PLASTIC to China costs; we pay to ship to; have cleaned and sorted, pre plan manufactured; then redistribution back to US… We pay 10 times over…? It’s ridiculous to recycle plastic for goods we do not need and Plastic is bad for human health and our environment… STANDARDIZED PARTS FOR ALL NEW GOODS must be considered…
