Support for the Creation of a Christian State/Autonomous Region in the Middle East

In the last few days radical Islamist rebels have overtaken major Syrian cities- such as Aleppo and Hama with little to no resistance by the Assad regime. In the potential scenario that the secular Assad regime falls (which seems more and more likely by the day) and Syria eventually balkanizes, to support the creation of a sovereign Christian nation or highly autonomous region where Christians can live in peace without fear of persecution by the radical Islamist forces currently sweeping through Syria.

Islam has taken over most of the western world right now. You can’t expect the American taxpayer to send more money to foreign countries when we have American taxpayers without homes due to Helene and veterans who are homeless . It is up to individual countries to sort out their own problems USA can do no more

This is not America’s Responsibility. The United Nations was supposed to be able to handle this type of issue. However, they have simply become another tool of the Islamic Jihad machine.

Who said anything about American taxpayers being responsible or sending resources? The homeless veterans and the victims of Helene absolutely need to have the fullest support of all US resources. Supporting the creation of a Christian state or autonomous region through diplomacy and multi-lateral negotiations are actions that any US admin would be privy to- just as any major nation would. There is no need to send money/resources to take a certain position on the world stage. Do you have to send money/resources to each and every cause you have a certain opinion on? The incoming Trump administration is common sense oriented, practical and insightful. It therefore does not need to address geopolitical issues in the archaic format that establishment neon/neoliberal politicians have done in previous administrations (Bush, Cheney, Obama, etc.). The ways of the past do not need to dictate the common sense oriented ways of the future under the incoming Trump admin. These complicated and multi-layered issues should not be viewed through such a simplistic lens. The attitude that “Islam has taken over most of the western world right now” is neither accurate nor relevant to protecting the ancient Christian homelands of Middle East or supporting an America first agenda whatever the positions of the government may be.

The UN is useless, but it does not cost the Trump admin to take certain positions on negotiations with other states in the region who would have a security interest in such a creation. No need for US to be directly involved with sending soldiers or aid.
