Student Loan Interest Rates

Many of us have to take out student loans to pursue our careers. Could we please cap interest rates on student loans to 4%.

I agree! I am currently in graduate school and paying for it with loans at the age of 50 so I can have other income to pay for medical bills, etc. There is no reason student loan interest rates should be nearly 8%. My car loan was 1.9%. The federal government and the loan servicing companies are making a FORTUNE in interest in students who don’t have jobs yet. In addition, degrees such as Nursing, Medicine, PT, OT, healthcare-related, etc, should have zero percent interest as we serve the public in our careers, and these fields are currently hurting for staff.
