I dont know how utility companies are in other towns but in Lansing Michigan currently the Lansing Board Of Water And Light are monopolizing on the people here. They put smart meters in so they didnt have to pay meter readers and now everyone in Lansing is deciding to eat or keep electricity and heat especially now going into the winter months. This year they did away with the winter protection program which would keep peoples kights on and give you the same bill every month. They are not helping the residents in any way. They actually keep raising the prices even though we are fighting them every step of the way. They only have lansing they do not do any other towns or cities like consumers energy who is by far way cheaper. We have started a facebook group Stop BWL but we are getting no where please help…
