Stop the war on cash

Pass an irrevocable right to use cash as a monetary instrument. So that in the future it can still be used as a way to retain freedom from banking institutions and unreasonable government oversight.

Make it unlawful to confiscate cash based on civil asset forfeiture without proof beyond a reasonable doubt and a ruling by a judge. Based on the principle of innocent until proven guilty.

Promoting more usage of cash can help reduce inflation as any physical money outside of the banking system can’t be used to increase the money supply through fractional reserve banking.

Stop the war on cash under the pretext of policies that aim to combat money laundering and tax evasion!

I’m glad to see this policy suggestion, it’s the first reason I came here. I’m frankly surprised, however, that it’s not getting much much more attention. This needs to go viral somehow and must get done.

Other things are mentioned in the original post but my primary concern is that it must be made absolutely illegal for any business not to accept cash. We can’t have citizens being put into a position by government whereby the citizen’s ability to purchase is cut off by the flick of a switch because that government doesn’t like something about you.

Ona simpler note, it’s ridiculous that so many places we go to today force people to use credit or debit cards, followed by flicking that stupid iPad around for us to add a tip (under pressure) and sign the nasty thing.

Summary - It must be illegal for any business not to accept cash!
