Doctors should not make health decisions or push one treatment over another because they or their practice will receive a financial benefit from it. Doctors would then be more likely to actually make decisions on critical thinking and individual patient care if you take any financial gain out of the equation.
Doctors or Hospitals can receive cash payments for lectures or consulting services, in-kind gifts such as meals, travel and accommodations to conferences, speaking fees at company events, or free drug samples.
While doctors can’t receive commissions, they can receive payments for promoting products from pharmaceutical companies

There are already limits in place. Most healthcare organizations forbid pharmaceutical representatives to come into clinics etc to market their drugs. They also forbid using pens etc that have pharmaceutical names on them.

President Trump signed an EO eliminating the practice of Pharmacy Benefit Managers from receiving rebates from drug manufacturers. Joe Biden suspended this EO and Democrats slipped it back into a bill exempting PBMs from the Federal Anti-kickback Statute.

This is a conflict of interest! Health should be first. Send them to prison if they take $$ from Pharma. My husband is permanently disabled from the Pfizer vaccine and most likely CVS pharmacists were paid off to give these untested vaccines!

Open state borders for insurance interstate competition. Everyone knows that competition brings down rates. When health insurance companies are limited to one state, the largest of those companies create monolpolies and with no competition, the largest has lower rates and lowest coverage. Citizens deserve freedim of choice deciding what coverage they want and need rather be held hostage by only being able to afford a basic plan and then pay a huge copay, deductable and prescriptions.

Doctors and any healthcare providers should also be required to take nutritional courses to see that our FOOD creates many issues. Lack of exercise also plays a huge role in our health as well.

While I do agree that physicians and prescribers should not be compensated financially for prescribing specific medications, the dinners that drug companies host and pay physicians to speak at are super informative. It is like continuing education that can also be extremely useful for being able to provide clients with more options for treating difficult diseases. It also brings prescribers from the same practice area together where they can collaborate and learn from each other. Independently trying to look up all the information presented at these dinners would be virtually impossible. The drug company is only allowed to provide knowledge and dinner…no alcohol, no pens, pads, etc… The dinner is not enough to bias a prescriber but the knowledge might be, and that is beneficial to all.

I want to know I’m getting the proper medication. NOT being prescribed a drug because its being pushed. Ive been the guinea pig for doctors for too long and im very ill. I no longer teust any medication as its done more damage to me than helped. I simply do not tryst any doctors now due to how they handled things during the pandemic.

yet the kickback from vaccines in a pediatric practice is often what makes the practice work and is upwards of a million for a major group practice or more. Oncology well they make money hand over fist and get their chemo wholesale and sell at retail with big $$ so don’t need a sales rep to come to the door

It should be illegal for health corporations and healthcare workers to receive compensation of any form from drug or pharmacuetical compnies with stiff penalties if they do. Doctors should be allowed to try holistic cures that have been shown to have efficacy. Efficacy being defined as: It works for many people, You know Like Ivernectinm Hydroxychloriquin. It should be illegal to tie doctors hands to one method as dictated by medical schools. I could go on.

Working in a hospital, I am all for this! Too many times have I seen so many physicians, I d say probably close to 95% of them nowadays, be quick to prescribe medication instead of trying to address the actual problem. They treat symptoms with meds and get kickbacks for doing it.

My father in law’s cardiologist said all medicines were poisons. I had a look of surprise and he said well, they are given all side effects the medicines give us. We can do so much better. We need clean food, clean air, and clean water to start with. We are not deficient in pharmaceutical drugs! We are deficient in nutrients!
