Many men (some women) are falsely accused of sexual assault and are arrested, with no physical evidence. The accusation of sexual assault has been weaponized to hurt innocent men. Someones words should not have the power to destroy another’s. There should have to be witnesses and/or physical evidence to warrant an arrest, for any accusation. The person making the false allegations should serve prison time for their crime.

Unfortunately, victims do not always come immediately forward with complaints, so there may not be clear cut “evidence”. This can lead to issues. i recommend that complaints issued by children must be investigated. Complaints by adults must have some evidence or witness to investigated. I hate saying that as a woman & a survivor.

There absolutely should be a high standard for this.
Too many innocent people (mostly men) are ruined by the mere accusation, losing jobs & their families.
Those people who falsely accuse anyone should be prosecuted for it & forced to pay restitution to the victims.
