Home ownership needs to be increased in the us as housing costs for everyone have gotten out of hand as most Americans can no longer afford a mortgage, while deporting illegals and becoming energy independent would help the cost of housing go down the mail in the coffin would be for the federal government to now offer 45 and 60 years mortgages so more everyday Americans can afford homes and company’s like black rock will stop buying them up to rent them back, also as there is a major lack of supply and huge demand when it comes to homes a great way to combat this issue would be to incentivize developers and new home builders with tax credits and breaks to encourage more homes being built not just buying from the current pool of available homes
