Stop pediatricians from banning parents for refusing vaccines

I absolutely empathize with you and I don’t disagree that something needs to change!
I worked in medical admin for many years and just wanted to provide some additional perspective for your proposal. As a disclaimer, I did not work with pediatricians specifically so on that front my knowledge is limited. But generally, doctors make very little if any money from vaccines. It’s actually quite common for them to lose money on them.

Insurance companies require them to have a certain percentage of their practice vaccinated in order to meet certain monetary bonuses. More vaccinated patients= more cash. Less vaccinate patients = less cash

I agree informed consent is important. I agree, lists of potential side effects can be scary and won’t fault anyone who wants more information on a treatment prescribed. But I also know that drug companies have to cover themselves no matter how unlikely a side effect might be. That is why I go to the doctor. To use their expertise, bring me back to reality and make the recommendations that statistically will give me the best outcome. Sure, doctors have some financial interest in administering vaccines. But they have no financial interest in refusing to take on patients because they refuse vaccines.

I guess my overall thought is that our freedom to make choices doesn’t necessarily coincide with our freedom to choose consequences. And to an extent we have to recognize that others should have the same freedom to choose that we do.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I’ve heard that a lot of family practices and other doctors don’t carry vaccines because they lose money on them but for some reason, I can’t seem to find any pediatricians who experience this.

Part of the answer for this situation would be to stop the physician incentives for vaccinating patients. Some doctors may not care about the vaccine status of kids if they don’t have a financial interest.

Bare minimum expectation should be a doctor cares when a patient is in need. Regardless is vaccines are complete BS (and they are!) but vaccine status has zero to do with a doctor’s ability to care for other conditions, and the contention that an unvaxxed patient puts others at risk is the most backwards, self-serving rhetoric I’ve ever heard. Take away a physicians bonuses from vax manufacturers based on their percentages of fully vaxxed patient base…they would stop turning away people.

Let’s just take away physicians incentives to vaccinate. No extra $$ for % vaccinated.

They do this because they get bonuses from pharma for keeping an 80% or higher full vaccination rate of pediatric patients.
It should be totally illegal for any and all pharmaceutical companies to incentivize doctors to push any medication or vaccine on any child. #parents rights

Yes, my great grandchildren are required to get the vaccines or the doctor will refuse to see them. How can we get doctors who don’t require them. I have heard that is how pediatricians have a salary demanding the children get vaccinated. 72 vaccines, my daughters had 4 or 5. What in the world. I hope RFK fixes this.

This is a huge issue! This is an issue that must go hand in hand with abolishing vaccine mandates. It will be necessary to enforce/resolve these two issues in conjunction with one another.

Exactly. These pediatricians pushing these vaccines for money and expelling families unwilling to get them for the health of their children need to loose their licenses and go to jail for going against their oaths as doctors!!
