They have too much power. We employ them. We want protection in sanctuary states. Chicago, Illinois is drowning and its scary.
No governor should be able to reject the presidents policies esp where our safety is concerned.

I tend to disagree. Give these governors what they want. When the deportations start allow illegals to flee to sanctuary cities. I estimate around 5 million will flee red states especially Texas and Florida. This influx will cripple sanctuary cities and the people will turn on the Governors and Mayors who have asked the illegals to come. We can turn Blue cities Red. New York, LA, SF and Chicago will be the first to fall. Vote red we’ll clean up the streets.

I agree. Myself and many people I know in the suburbs no longer will go to Chicago for the theater, shopping, or holiday events because we don’t feel safe. It’s so sad because Chicago is a beautiful city with so much history and culture. My teenage daughter once was able to take the train with her friends to attend seasonal events. Not any more. As an adult she won’t go to Chicago because of how unsafe it has become. We need Mayor Brandon and Gov. Prizker to be be held accountable for ruining our beautiful city.
