The issue of large investment firms, such as BlackRock, purchasing residential properties has raised significant concerns about housing affordability and market stability. By acquiring substantial numbers of residential homes, these corporations are contributing to inflated home prices and a decrease in accessibility for individual buyers. As homes become harder to purchase, rental markets expand, often with higher rental rates, impacting the overall affordability for households.
Yes I agree, these types of large corporations should be banned from all the land grabs a raising the housing market to extreme levels

100% - Corporations need to be banned from owning detached, single family dwellings period. Give corporations a two year window in which to sell all inventory. Provide relocation assistance to the renters of those properties. Provide buy options/assistance for those renters.

Anyone reading this, consider my proposal for the mechanics of achieving this. Progressively higher taxes on real estate portfolios based on size of corporation purchasing the home
