Solve Global Warming Easily

Build 40,000 Direct Air Capture plants that each capture 1 million metric tons of carbon dioxide annually from the atmosphere. Global warming would be solved. Simple.

You can use the captured carbon to produce oil derivative products to pay for the operating costs of running these plants.

This would create jobs, create a surplus of oil derivative products, and reduce climate change related weather events, as well as prevent further rising and warming sea levels.

You can also build a few thousand Direct Ocean Capture plants to deacidify the ocean.

Sounds like building more solar farms and wind turbines, leave God’s plan alone.
STOP GLOBAL POLLUTION

Sorry no. I don’t want my city underwater in 45-50 years. God has nothing to do with greenhouse gases we are emitting that is trapping the Sun’s heat under our atmosphere.

Stop trying to take drastic measures to “solve global warming” - the idea behind carbon emissions causing any issues is purely speculative. Climate alarmists have been saying the world will be underwater by 2010 since the 90s or earlier. This would be a good read: Climatic consequences of the process of saturation of radiation absorption in gases - ScienceDirect

Also to maintain any type of carbon capture device, I’m certain it would cost even more fossil fuels or rare earth materials to be mined just to maintain them. Our government ends up approving millions of dollars in subsidies to their political donors who happen to to own “green” companies that don’t end up producing anything.

It’s no more drastic than the amount of oil and gas plants we have produced around the world to make transportation viable. I don’t care what climate alarmists have said in the past, I am a climate realist. It is a fact that carbon emissions cause an increase in the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere that prevent the Sun’s heat from radiating back out into space. This is why global ocean and air temperatures have been increasing. I also don’t care what subsidies the Democrats give to green companies. This is a practical solution that would actually work and your idea is to let coastal cities be inundated in 50 years. Think about how much that will cost.

The USA was under water millions of years ago, hence Mammouth caves

The fact that the Earth went through tectonic plate shifts, Ice Ages and interglacial periods has nothing to do with the fact that we are warming at a faster rate than Earth’s natural glacial cycles.

Much more straightforward ways to accomplish this.

How many years would it take to fully implement 40,000 Direct Air Capture plants, and do you have an estimate of what kind of appropriation bill Congress would need to pass to fund such a large-scale project? Additionally, in which regions would these plants likely be built for optimal efficiency and impact?
