Seeds reproduce exponentially, yet farmers are not allowed to reuse seeds from produce that they have grown themselves. Instead, farmers are required to buy new seeds every year, from the sellers who have patented them.
The seed industry is nearly monopolized, and those prices are passed onto every single American.
We shouldn’t let corporations cause food scarcity or have so much power over a natural phenomenon. We need to soften the copyright restrictions placed on the selling of produce!!

I agree, small scale farmers have been struggling lately. They need more protection.
