Social Security Reform

Current Social Security rules allow double and triple dipping of one’s social security allowance. For example, a man can work his whole life contributing to Social Security. Over that lifetime, he marries and divorces twice, both marriages lasting 15 years . When he retires, he can collect his monthly social security check but now wife #1 and wife #2 also get to collect their checks on his social security without his allowance ever going down. So one persons contribution results in 3 people receiving the same benefit. The math doesn’t add up.

On a different note, how are immigrants over 65 who have never contributed to our social security plan receiving $674/month benefit from it? With 170,000 senior immigrants, that’s taking $1.375 billion from the Social Security Fund per year!

Please consider voting for my social security reform proposal here: Allow individuals to opt out of social security taxes and instead mandate 401(k) contributions

Individuals who make, earn, over $xxx, xxx should be on a sliding scale as to the % they can receive. Especially politicians!!!

The Constitution never gave the Federal Government the power to create a Social Security system. If the rule of law means anything, people need to be refunded their contributions to Social Security and manage their own retirement.
