Social Security is a program that taxpaying citizens are forced to pay into as a savings for when they retire.
As such the money should not be going toward illegal immigrants including those who are paroled or given a status in order to gain benefits that are funed by the hardworking citizens. This is a program that is intended to benefit citizens of the United States.
In addition, programs such as FEMA should also be for citizens.
It creates a welfare Country that people are attracted to coming to for free gain. However, it is not free to the US citizen who is working hard to pay into these programs. If they want separate programs for those intentions they should see if they can stand the test of being approved on their own merit not put them into the Social Security and FEMA programs or any other program.
In addition, disability claims should not go through Social Security. This should be a separate fund.
Solutions:
Untangle the legislation that has created leaks in the Social Security sytem that is intended for retirement of elderly individuals who worked their entire life paying into Social Security.
Offer an alternative that individuals can opt to have money put into an IRA instead of Social Security like they do for employees of the Railroad.
