removing the stipulation that social security for widow cannot be granted until age 60.
Many widows do not have children, and aren’t always elderly. The loss of spouse has continued financial impacts on the widow left behind. If the deceased has paid in to social security, it should not be held hostage until the widow turns 60, when those funds would be beneficial to their livelihood before then.
