Small businesses, that make up the backbone of our nation, are failing due to the hardships forced on them from the COVID 19 disaster. Many businesses owners, like myself, were forced into closing for long extended times and it devastated our businesses. We were offered LOANS to help us get back on our feet, even though it was by no fault of our own that our once thriving businesses were devastated, and were left no other options than to take them….or give up our dreams. Once we were given PERMISSION to reopen and try to regain normality, people were still in fear and nothing became even remotely “normal” for us businesses for years. But we have to pay these 30 YEAR loans.
PLEASE Mr President and Mr Kennedy, consider helping the small businesses with this situation. We would love full forgiveness of these loans since the situation that caused us to need them was by no fault of our own. If that is not possible please consider some other manner to help our small business community that DOESNT put us more behind. So many of us worked very hard to start these businesses…without debt, to now be pushed into a large amount of debt for no reason.
I fear that if the small business community does not get some sort of assistance with this, that there may not be the small business community for much longer.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Signed,
A dedicated hard working small business owner
