Issue number one.
The new Dmarc email rules were created to reduce spam and spooking domains. This is great, but Att, Google, and others have used it to suppress SM & MD-sized businesses from advertising using email.
The new requirement states that if “3” out of 1000 emails are marked as spam for any reason, all emails from that sender will get a “bulk sender” status. This status can not be appealed.
This regulation guarantees that all SM & MD-sized business advertising emails can not be sent more than 1000 daily. Effectively, the advertisement will never reach the inboxes of these large email service providers. This also prohibits sending something simple like a Holiday Card or a Black Friday Email.
Effectively, this forces small businesses to use Pay Per Click advertising, which is hundreds of times more expensive and arguably hundreds of times less effective.
