As a very small Raw Milk Farm in Wyoming, we find it very hard to balance the cost of feed for our livestock and the cost of our products to keep moving forward. Other than tax exemptions on feed we really get no breaks to help us keep going. Because of this it is hard to keep small farms like mine in business. Wyoming is one of the states that currently has the best food freedom laws in place. However the cost to provide those foods is super high. We need something in place to help us small farms stay afloat and cut our costs.
