Should Firearms Require an Insurance Policy ?

The same way vehicles can be used as weapons and cause extreme bodily harm, I believe guns should be treated similarly. I am aware that vehicles are not protected by the constitution, but I’m just spitballing- I’m sure y’all would have some good ideas for how to hold folks who own guns responsible for their belongings.

There is absolutely no reason children should be able to have access to their parents’ guns, with or without their knowledge. At the end of the day it’s the parents’ responsibility to properly store away their weapons.

Just like some people should have to have insurance to speak or write? I mean after all if we are going to start mandating insurance we should start with the first, right?

Your idea would simply eliminate the ability to exercise rights and is not something to allow into law.
