At the beginning of Biden’s administration, Secretary of Defense pushed a message to all servicemembers in the US. That message was clear, we were not allowed to publicly endorse or discuss any likes, dislikes, or discontent with the administration. This was brought to all of us in the form of a page 13 where we had to sign a document which could be used against us. The member’s social media was going to be scrutinized and if you misspoke about the administration, your career was going to be negatively effected. Although the POTUS is our Commander in Chief, we should have the right to openly and freely discuss our thoughts and opinions of the administration without sticking to a script that only highlights them as perfect.
