Separate Food and Drug administration

Firstly, the Food and Drug Administration should not be housed in the same building. This appears to be a potential conflict of interest. Additionally, it is unethical and unacceptable to pay celebrities to endorse products. Thanks.

Why?

Putting food and drugs under the same agency makes no sense — the same system that lets harmful ingredients in shouldn’t be the one approving the meds to fix the problems they create. Hope that helps.

I agree that the Food and Drug administration should be split up and only one agency that deals with food safety, nutritional quality, recalls, monitoring, etc. For some companies it can be confusing on which agency oversees a product line - Cheese and veggie pizzas are FDA inspected, but if you add any meat it suddenly goes to the USDA.
That would free up people at the FDA to truly look into medications.
