Congressmen & women must be present to vote. They must also be in attendance at least 90% of the time or be removed from their position.

I came to say much the same thing. My suggestion is they get 5-7 sick days and the same holidays that govt offices recognize. Depending on years of service they should get 3-4 weeks vacation a year. In the event there are unusual family emergencies/circumstances they use FMLA. In the event of personal illness or inability to show up for work there is zoom that can be used to attend meetings. Meetings should be mandatory!
On another note, if the elected officials are caught lying they should be removed from office immediately.
They have way too much freedom and zero accountability in their jobs.

AND…they should no longer be allowed to “abstain” or vote simply “Present”. WTF does that mean – “Hey, guys…I showed up but I don’t really care to vote on it?” I mean, REALLY??? Their voices must be heard by the American people, for or against EVERYTHING. If the fella doesnt vote on things, get him/her out of there. That is their job! Amen. OK…stepping off the soap box! :
